Coping with the Weather

I think I’m justified in blaming the trouble I had finding an outfit this morning on the weather. One day it’s sunny and 60, and the next it’s rainy and 40. Welcome to Wisconsin. I really wanted to be done with layers and boots and tights and scarves, but if that’s the weather I get, I might as well take full advantage of it. So today I wore my favorite boots and scarf for what is (hopefully) the last time until at least September, and added a pop of cobalt and my yellow coat. If you’ve been experiencing this topsy-turvy weather too, how has it been affecting what you’ve been wearing?

Did I mention that it was crazy windy today? Taking pictures was quite an adventure.

  1. The weather, thankfully, has calmed down over here, but I understand your frustration. And hey, at least you got this super cute outfit, so it’s not too bad, right?

  2. I’ve been wearing lots of layers and tights, too. At least we can take advantage of the cooler weather and still wear scarves and layers! Love your sunny coat and that skirt is adorable!

  3. I live in Illinois and our spring weather has also been quite annoying. You seem to be dealing with it very well though – this outfit is marvelous! I love all the layers and how the blue and yellow bring in a hint of spring.

I'd love to get to know you - leave me a comment!
